Water Conservation
Daley International strongly encourages all of our facilities to communicate the importance of water efficiency and to ensure that they understand. Checking for leaks, reporting and prompt repair. To recycle or reuse process water whenever it is practical. Establishing regular scheduled cleaning of auxiliary equipment. Water meters at high flow processes and equipment.
Solid Waste
In the production of packaging chemicals, as with any manufacturing process, waste is developed. This type of waste needs to be recycled or disposed of properly. Daley International has worked with suppliers to reduce waste generated by packaging materials. For these items, significant efforts have been made to place them into a recycling program.
Electrical Energy Conservation
Daley International divisions are encouraged to reduce consumption of energy and develop recycling programs to minimize pollution emissions. By investing in state of the art equipment and energy efficiency lighting we can significantly reduce the use of the natural resources needed to power these products.
Waste Water Discharge
The chemical manufacturing process requires the use of large volume of water. Each Daley International manufacturing facility has a holding tank where all wastewater is retained until it is full. The water is then pretreated prior to being discharged to the wastewater treatment facility. Periodic self-monitoring of the water discharge from each manufacturing site has been performed for many years.
